Angels Wings Transport moves rescue animals and service members and veterans on volunteer-flown general aviation aircraft. There is never a fee to the person or organization we serve.

We currently serve Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Montana.

Animal transport

We primarily move dogs and cats, though there is no restriction on species. We can usually carry five to ten animals per flight depending on their size, and they ride in the cabin with the pilot in secure carriers. Transports over 500 miles need extra planning and may combine air and ground legs. Ground transport at each end, and any fostering, is the responsibility of the requesting organization.

Military and veteran transport

We exist so that no wounded warrior, veteran, or affected family member is denied access to medical care, is unable to acquire a service animal, or is unable to reach a loved one’s bedside or funeral because of the cost of travel. We support veterans of every era, and you do not need to have deployed or served during wartime.

Missions may fly on donated general aviation aircraft or on donated commercial tickets, depending on what the situation needs.

Medical patient transport — currently paused

We are not accepting medical patient transport requests at this time. That includes flights to and from treatment, compassion flights, and blood, organ and tissue transport.
